Parlors were definitely a thing in the 18th and 19th Century America. Post-COVID 19 Pandemic more and more professionals are working from home and getting creative with spaces that serve one purpose during the day and another in the evening. This client needed an office during the day and a swanky hangout after the kids go down in the evening. We added wainscoting to the walls, drenched them in black and then added layer upon layer of texture to create depth and personality.
